Started with film. Stuck around for the story.
Everything else is just upgraded buttons.

This all kicked off back in the late ’80s when I was handed my first camera—a Hanimex film camera. Back then, you didn’t get instant previews or unlimited takes. You had to slow down, think about the shot, and trust your instincts. Somewhere along the way, that stuck.

I’ve seen photography and videography evolve from film rolls and waiting days to see your shots, to the fast-paced digital world we’re in now. The gear has changed (a lot), but the important part hasn’t—the story. These days, anyone can pick up a camera, but knowing what to capture and when to capture it… that’s where the magic is.

That old-school mindset still shapes how we work at Wayward Films. It’s not about overshooting or over-editing—it’s about being in the right place, at the right time, and telling the story as it actually happened.
